"Just Jack"

This is a photo of a fish I won at an enviornmental fair at the local park the other day. My boyfriend decided to call him Jack, and I called him "Just Jack", a long time joke in the t.v. sitcom "Will & Grace".
Sadly, "Just Jack" only last for two days. He died on Monday and is remembered fondly.
"Just Jack" : 22 September-24 September 2007. RIP.

Goings On...
Over the past month, you may have noticed that postings have been a bit scarce, few pictures and even fewer words have made it to the blog. I must admit that I've taken on quite a course load and haven't had much time to post much less take a photo. Between handling 7 classes (a few 1 credit courses make for a total of 15 credits) studying for GRE's (graduate school entrance exams) and trying to manage some form of a life outside of it all (so far I've managed to get as far as Facebook and that's it), I haven't been doing anything BUT school and more school. Although it isn't OFFICIAL- it is looking like this semester will by my last as an undergraduate (let me tell you about a long time coming). I'm excited about it all, but am under quite a workload that has kept me from blogging. I'm disappointed that I haven't been able to do more here as blogging (like for so many others) is a psychological outlet where we talk, discuss, read and ponder other people's perceptions of the world while still in our pajamas (or birthday suits, if you prefer).
So, with all of that being said, I can't make any promises that I'll be blogging on a regular basis. It's too much work at this point in time and I have no pictures of anything interesting, except for Hermione, but even I get tired of taking pictures of the same thing over and over again.
I hope you still check back every now and then and I'll make a posting to tell you that I do, in fact, still exist. I'll check in with everyone as well, all of your blogs give me something to think about or learn each time I read them.
Here's one for the road:

Lights

For the past few years now, we've been putting up purple lights on our balcony for Halloween. Now that some time has passed, I've started to associate the lights with Autumn instead of Halloween and now they go up in September. Now I don't get a chance to do much for Halloween, but those lights still have to go up.
I tried to take still pictures of the light, but it wasn't working very well. I stole from Claire and used her idea with the swirly light effect.
I must admit, they do add a little punch to our balcony. Tomorrow I'll go out and get some mums to put out as well. I should also pick up a chair or two since the old one broke. And how about a table as well...???
Hmm....
